The answer to this question is subjective and depends on individual preferences. Some fans may prefer the 1999 version of Hunter x Hunter for its pacing, character development, and soundtrack, while others may prefer the 2011 version for its updated animation, faithful adaptation of the manga, and overall storytelling. Both versions have their own strengths and weaknesses, and it ultimately comes down to personal taste as to which one is considered "better." **

Hunter x Hunter and Naruto share some similarities as both are popular shonen anime and manga series that feature young protagonists on a journey to become powerful fighters. They both explore themes of friendship, determination, and the pursuit of strength. However, the two series also have distinct differences in their storytelling, character development, and world-building, making them unique in their own right. While both series have elements of action and adventure, they each offer a different experience for fans of the shonen genre. **

However, Gon is a popular character from Hunter x Hunter and is well-liked by many fans of the series for his determination, optimism, and growth throughout the story. Whether someone likes Gon or not is subjective and depends on their individual tastes and opinions. **
