No, the goalkeeper cannot score a goal with their hand. According to the rules of soccer, a player, including the goalkeeper, cannot use their hands to deliberately score a goal. The only player allowed to use their hands within the penalty area is the goalkeeper, and even then, they are only allowed to do so to handle the ball in certain situations, such as making a save or clearing the ball. If the goalkeeper were to deliberately use their hand to score a goal, it would result in a foul and the opposing team would be awarded a free kick. **

If the ball is crossed into the penalty area and the goalkeeper goes up for the ball, they can use their hand to punch or direct the ball into the net. However, this is a rare occurrence as goalkeepers are not typically allowed to handle the ball outside of their own penalty area. If a goalkeeper does score a goal with their hand, it would likely be considered a handball and result in a foul. **

He described it as a combination of cunning and divine intervention, hence the name "Hand of God." Maradona's actions sparked controversy and debate, but he maintained that it was a moment of instinct and opportunism. **
