No, Shoto Todoroki does not die in the My Hero Academia series. As of the latest updates in the manga and anime, Shoto Todoroki is alive and continues to play a significant role in the story. He is a prominent character and a member of Class 1-A at U.A. High School, known for his powerful Quirk and complex family background. **

It's difficult to say definitively who would win in a fight between Katsuki and Todoroki as both characters possess unique strengths and abilities. Katsuki's explosive Quirk and aggressive fighting style make him a formidable opponent, while Todoroki's powerful ice and fire Quirks give him a wide range of offensive and defensive capabilities. Ultimately, the outcome of a battle between the two would likely depend on the specific circumstances and strategies employed by each character. **

As an AI language model, I do not have personal opinions or preferences. However, in the My Hero Academia fandom, there are various popular ships involving Todoroki. Some fans ship him with Momo Yaoyorozu, while others prefer the dynamic between Todoroki and Deku. Ultimately, the choice of who to ship Todoroki with is subjective and varies among fans based on their own preferences and interpretations of the characters. **

The romantic relationship between Deku and Todoroki is ultimately up to the creators of the series, and it is uncertain if or when they will become a couple. Fans of the series will have to continue following the story to see how their relationship develops. **

In the world of My Hero Academia, Todoroki is unique because he inherited two powerful quirks from his parents. His father, Endeavor, has the ability to produce flames, while his mother has an ice quirk. Todoroki's dual quirk inheritance is a result of his parents' specific quirks combining, making him one of the few characters with this special ability. This dual quirk makes Todoroki a formidable hero with a wide range of powers at his disposal, setting him apart from other characters in the series. **
